Let\u2019s dive into the tier list so you have an idea as to which leagues you should focus on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"481\" src=\"https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-1024x481.png\" alt=\"Junior Hockey Leagues Tier List\" class=\"wp-image-28216\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-1024x481.png 1024w, https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-768x361.png 768w, https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-1536x722.png 1536w, https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-2048x963.png 2048w, https:\/\/ahadvising.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AHA-Junior-League-Tier-List-2025-Ranking-18x8.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">S Tier: OHL\/WHL\/QMJHL\/USHL<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OHL &amp; WHL<\/strong>\u00a0are top tier leagues that have consistently produced the most high-end players overall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>QMJHL<\/strong>\u00a0has an excellent reputation for producing top-tier talent but falls slightly short compared to the OHL &amp; WHL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>USHL<\/strong>\u00a0consistently produces numerous NCAA DI players and NHL players, although still not quite up to the same standard as the CHL leagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Tier: BCHL\/NAHL<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BCHL\u00a0<\/strong>is a very skilled league but could see some changes this coming year in terms of calibre &amp; advancement rate with top teams like Penticton Vees leaving to the WHL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NAHL:\u00a0<\/strong>Very strong league, physical and structured that could experience a slight decline in NCAA D1 commits with the new rule change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B Tier: <em><strong>AJHL\/SJHL\/CCHL\/MJHL\/NCDC\/OJHL\/MHL\/QJr.AAA<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AJHL:\u00a0<\/strong>Previously considered A tier, but still top of B tier league with strong calibre and good NCAA advancement rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SJHL:\u00a0<\/strong>Solid calibre, physical league, consistent rise in NCAA advancements in recent years, still slightly below the AJHL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CCHL &amp; MJHL:<\/strong>\u00a0MJHL more physical than CCHL, advancement rates very similar, but CCHL has slight advantage with proximity to more NCAA programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NCDC &amp; OJHL:\u00a0<\/strong>Slight edge to NCDC over OJHL, strongest OJHL teams are stronger than NCDC, but OJHL is a huge league and weakest teams make it more watered down compared to the NCDC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MHL &amp; Jr. AAA:\u00a0<\/strong>Both dark horse leagues with very skilled players and strong overall calibre. With the new rule change, we expect more NCAA advancement focus with time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C Tier: <em><strong>EHL\/GOJHL\/NOJHL\/USPHL Premier\/NA3HL<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>EHL<\/strong>\u00a0has the edge for NCAA D3 advancement rate, giving it the highest ranking on the C tier list.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GOJHL<\/strong>\u00a0is a league with strong calibre, but the focus on NCAA advancement is minimal.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NOJHL<\/strong>\u00a0is a good league with similar calibre to the EHL, but NCAA D3 advancement rates are lower.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>USPHL Premier &amp; NA3HL<\/strong>\u00a0are both large leagues, where it\u2019s critical that you play for a good program if you want to develop well and advance to the college level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D Tier: <em><strong>SIJHL\/KIJHL\/VIJHL\/PJHL\/EOJHL\/Jr. B<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These leagues are ranked in D tier, with some potential for advancement, especially for younger players, but not among the best options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>KIJHL<\/strong>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<strong>VIJHL<\/strong>\u00a0have underperformed in terms of player development and advancement, despite their somewhat recent announcement of being tier 2 leagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F Tier: <em><strong><em><strong>EHL Premier\/USPHL Elite\/PJHL\/CAJHL\/MMJHL\/NJHL\/GMHL\/Jr. C<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Considered lower end junior leagues in Canada &amp; the US, with players typically entering for fun competition rather than serious progression to higher levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out our Youtube video on this topic: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NJyYVGrHraw\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=l4D_ZrGet2I<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need help finding an&nbsp;<strong>NCAA, Jr. A, or Prep<\/strong>&nbsp;team, and you want expert guidance now?
